This training introduces the PACE model—Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy—as a practical framework for strengthening attachment and connection with children who have experienced trauma, loss, or disrupted caregiving. Grounded in Attachment Theory and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), PACE offers caregivers concrete tools to create safety, reduce conflict, and nurture trust in everyday interactions. Participants will learn how small shifts in approach can support emotional regulation, repair relationships after hard moments, and foster long-term resilience. Caregivers will leave with practical strategies they can use right away to deepen healing connections and promote felt safety at home.

Presented by First Witness, this training gives caregivers the tools to confidently talk with children about body safety. Participants will learn to spot grooming and manipulation, recognize signs of abuse, respond effectively to disclosures, and foster safe, open communication at home.
