Join us for a morning of fun with Laura, the Foster Parent Partner. Receive a signed copy of Laura's new book "First Time Fostering" and listen to her journey as a child welfare caregiver.
Laura, known as "Foster Parent Partner," is a social media creator and online community leader who provides practical support, resources, and advice for current and prospective foster and kinship parents, focusing on trauma-informed parenting, navigating the system, and advocating for children. She offers content through platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Patreon, covering topics from licensing and working with professional teams to daily challenges like managing routines and big emotions. Her mission is to build confidence and raise awareness for those in the foster care community.
We will also welcome local foster parent author Trish Iiams and participants will choose one of her books to take home as well!
Free breakfast, amazing children's activities provided by Cobbled Streets. Giveaways galore!

Laura, Foster Parent Partner (Moderator)
Hello! I'm Laura. I work with current and hopeful foster parents as they navigate licensing, working with the professional team, trauma-conscious parenting, connecting with (bio) families, and advocating for the kids in their care. My content also supports people who work with foster children on a day to day basis including workers, CASA advocates, teachers, daycare providers, and beyond.
