Join us for an important and practical training designed to equip parents, caregivers, and anyone who cares about kids with the tools to navigate today’s digital world with confidence.
Presented by Project Harmony and co-hosted by Project 1.27 and Be The Source, this training features trusted materials from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Participants will learn how to:
-
Have regular, age-appropriate conversations about online safety
-
Understand both the benefits and risks of apps, gaming, and social platforms
-
Recognize warning signs of online exploitation or unsafe behavior
-
Respond calmly and effectively if something concerning happens
-
Access reliable discussion guides, tip sheets, and tools to research apps and platforms
This session is designed to empower caregivers — not with fear — but with knowledge, language, and practical next steps. Whether you’re parenting a preschooler or a teen, you’ll leave with concrete tools to help children stay safe while building digital responsibility and resilience.
